Once the challenge kicks off, you will take 7 days to look at your life in ways you have never looked at it before. No matter your starting position, you will be doing activities that have been proven to improve your health and wellbeing.
As you make each day a success, you will begin to feel a sense of improvement in yourself on all levels - physical, emotional, and mental.
It is important to know that only you know where you are starting from and only you know how much you are putting in to the challenge, so take it at the pace that works best for you and don't beat yourself up if it's not going how you thought it would. You can always do the challenge again with us next month!

How This Challenge Works:
Over the 7 days, you will be given video, audio or text lessons on different topics related to heath and wellbeing. Part of the lesson will be learning-based, and part of it will require you to do a related activity. It is important that you take the time to read the text and/or watch the video so you are on track with the daily challenge. Be aware that some activities will span over several days or even the whole week. At the end of the week it will be up to you whether you keep going or stop the activity.
So good luck, don't forget to share your challenge with your friends, and most of all… have fun!
GUIDELINES FOR THE WEEK:
♥ If you have an injury or something that prevents you from doing an activity, simply don't do it, or alter it as needed. Listen to your body, that’s the key.
♥ Continue doing all the other health-based practices you are already doing, or alter them to add the Challenge activities in for the week.
♥ Consider your nutrition during the week. It is a good idea to include at least one dark green leafy salad, steamed greens, and/or fresh green juice per day. Also try to limit the amount of processed and sugary food you eat and focus more on fruits and vegetables.
♥ Do your best to get as close to 8 hours of sleep per night. Although we don't cover it in the Challenge, sleep is a very important factor in wellbeing and overall health.

Hello, I am the Founder of Sunrise Well, a boutique wellness business that shows people how to be mindfully well, how to de-stress and bring vitality into your life, so you can thrive, not just survive.
I create these online courses because, in my work, I come across so many people who want to improve their wellbeing, or learn to meditate but can't seem to make the change stick.
Changing your lifestyle can have a profound impact on a person's life.
I have seen it change relationships, give people new energy and vitality, and improve health and life balance in completely transformative ways.

I am a certified wellness coach, meditation teacher, and yoga teacher, as well as an educator with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Health.
I have worked in academic settings for almost 20 years so I know what it takes to deliver useful courses where you can really learn, grow, and change your life. I coach people in how to meditate, how to live mindfully, how to reduce stress, and how to kick the habits that are holding them back.
I bring together my education in public health and psychology, with practical training in coaching, yoga, and meditation. I also incorporate my background skills in health policy and academic lecturing.
Sunrise Well comes from my understanding that we don't have long on this earth and we have to make the most of it. Not some day, but NOW.
My philosophy stems from the concept that each morning brings an opportunity to make the best day possible. I encourage you to be fully present in your life, to achieve what you dream of, to throw out old habits, to start each day with fresh eyes and an open heart.
